Transformation

I captured this cross at the beginning of last semester and then again at the end. As my skills and knowledge grew with photography so did my appreciation for creating images that were not picture perfect. I found the beauty in the darkness, sadness, and these images truly reflect the difficult time I was having in real life. My mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer and I used my faith to hold me up. And used creative outlets like photography to keep me motivated and positive. These images tell a beautiful story and I am very proud to share that.

What inspires you most? How do you get through the more difficult times?
